Dear friends and family,
Thank you so much for your ongoing support of me in advocating for my mother’s release.
My mother disappeared on December 12, 2017. Nobody has seen or heard from her since. She is one of the many intellectuals being detained in China right now. Today marks the third year of her disappearance.
It would mean a lot to me if you could help out with a social media campaign I’m organizing with CU Boulder’s Amnesty International chapter. Can you do two things right now: Change your profile picture on your social media accounts and post a campaign card graphic to your news feed? Since Instagram profile pictures are small, we have an alternative symbolic color change file for that medium. I’ve also attached a cover photo you can use. Everything is attached here.
Want to do more? Check out our social media advocacy page on freemymom.org for more ways to get involved on social media this week. Don’t have social media but still want to get involved? You can email a letter on behalf of my mother right now.
I miss my mother so much. Please save her from the arbitrary detention.
